Chitwan city is located in the south western part of Narayani Zone with Bharatpur and 175 km south west from Kathmandu. Chitwan is famous for wildlife safari and shelter of endangered animals especially Bengal Tiger and one horned Rhinos. Chitwan is also one of the tourist destination of Nepal where visitors can have experience of bird and butterfly watching, Tharu culture dance, elephant bathing, jungle safari, jeep ride, elephant ride etc.
