Sangita Bajracharya

Raised in Kathmandu city, a young and dynamic lady, Sangita, is the founder of Himalayan Namobuddha Travel & Treks. With many years of experience in the tourism industry, she came up with this venture and she is the driving force behind the birth of Himalayan Namobuddha Travel & Treks. She holds Master’s degree in Business Administration. She is passionate about her work and loves meeting people from around the world and exchanging her ideas and experiences with them. She has already experienced many adventurous activities herself, like trekking in the mountains, hiking, bungy jumping, paragliding, rafting within Nepal and has also other countries like Singapore, Malaysia and Japan.

She loves travel, adventure, food, culture, and everything about Nepal and passionate for sharing these amazing experiences to enrich the journeys of travelers. This is what inspired her to come up with this travel venture – Himalayan Namobuddha Travel & Treks .

Sunil Bajracharya

Born in Lalitpur district, Mr Sunil Bajracharya is the Director of Himalayan Namobuddha Travel & Treks. Mr Bajracharya with many years of experience in the tourism industry, including being a part of many reputed tourism organizations, has also lead many Japanese groups with his vast knowledge about the culture and heritage of Nepal. He has his degree in Environmental Science, and is also proficient in Newari, Nepali, English, Japanese, and Hindi languages.

He is also actively involved in many environmental and social projects, and has worked as a President in the Nepal Environment Protection Group, and in the Japanese Language School Association of Nepal (JALSAN). In the course of work, he has traveled through many areas of Nepal, India, China, Thailand, Japan, Korea, and America.

Badri Maharjan

With more than 20 years in Nepal’s tourism industry and over a decade of living and working in Germany, Badri brings together deep local knowledge and an international perspective. Fluent in German, he has worked with respected German travel companies including Hauser and Highlander Excursions, giving him extensive experience understanding and guiding international travelers. As our Senior Travel Advisor, Badri specializes in creating thoughtful, personalized journeys from Himalayan treks and cultural discoveries to comfortable tailor-made adventures designed around what each traveler truly wants to experience in Nepal.

Bipin Maharjan

With over a decade of experience in the tourism industry of Nepal, Mr Bipin looks after the logistics and operations department of our company. He is also a tourism counselor with vast knowledge of the tourism aspects of Nepal. He has already participated in many tourism related events in various countries including India, Singapore, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom.

Herananda Bajracharya

Raised in Kathmandu city, Mr Bajracharya possess deep knowledge about the Newar community and he is one of the great devotees of all gods and goddesses. He looks after all the financial matters of the company starting from smaller expenses to bigger ones and keeps record of all of them.

Rabin Subedi

Born in Dhading, Rabin Subedi is one of our most experienced trekking guides, with more than 15 years of guiding experience across Nepal. Fluent in English, he has explored numerous Himalayan regions and understands the diverse landscapes, cultures and communities that make Nepal unique. A passionate outdoor enthusiast, Rabin has even completed marathons in the Everest region, reflecting his strong connection with the mountains and his endurance. With Rabin, travelers gain not just an experienced guide, but a knowledgeable companion who loves sharing Nepal through every step of the journey.

Sanit Shrestha

Sanit Shrestha is an experienced local tour guide fluent in Chinese and English, with a passion for sharing the stories behind Nepal’s culture, history, heritage and people. When he is not guiding travelers, he works as an English lecturer at a reputed college in Kathmandu, bringing excellent communication and teaching skills to every journey. His ability to connect with travelers and explain Nepal in an engaging and meaningful way makes him a wonderful cultural companion.

Pramila Shakya

Pramila Shakya is a professional tour guide fluent in English and Chinese, with extensive knowledge of Buddhism, spirituality, Nepal’s diverse cultures, history and sacred places. Having traveled internationally with a particular interest in Buddhist practices and spiritual traditions, and living a simple life as a Buddhist nun, she brings a deeply personal perspective to cultural and spiritual journeys. She is especially passionate about helping travelers discover the deeper meaning behind Nepal’s Buddhist heritage and way of life.

Sangeet Bajracharya

Sangeet Bajracharya is the behind-the-scenes force who keeps every journey running smoothly, coordinating logistics and arrangements from the moment our guests arrive in Nepal until their departure. Fluent in English and Japanese language, he works closely with our guides, drivers, hotels and local partners to ensure everything is well organized, on time and ready for our guests. Kancha Man Rai

Kanchha Man Rai is a local resident of Everest region, Solukhumbu, and currently staying in Kathmandu, Kapan. He has been working as a trekking guide for more than 10 years and has also done climbing in several Himalayan regions of Nepal. He has vast knowledge about Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Manaslu, Mustang, Dolpa, Makalu, etc and also has first aid skills. He is very friendly, honest, and loves to share his deep knowledge about the mountains with travelers.

Mitra Rai

Born in the Lower Everest region, Mitra Rai also began his career as a porter and has grown into one of our most experienced and dynamic licensed trekking guides, with more than a decade in the field. He has trekked extensively across Nepal, including Everest, Kanchenjunga, Annapurna and Langtang, and worked in the Everest region following the 2015 earthquake. With first-aid training, strong field experience and deep knowledge of Himalayan communities, Mitra brings energy, reliability and genuine mountain passion to every adventure.

Ichhya Maharjan

Born and raised in a Newar family in the Kathmandu Valley, Ichha has a genuine connection to the living culture, traditions and heritage of Nepal. With more than 10 years of experience in tourism and fluency in German and English Language, she understands both the expectations of international travelers and the authentic character of Nepal. Her passion is helping guests go beyond the famous sights to discover Newari culture, local traditions, heritage sites and everyday community life, creating experiences that feel personal and genuinely local.

Parbati Joshi

Parbati Tamang is a licensed female trekking guide and Everest summitter with extensive experience exploring Nepal’s Himalayan trails. Her first-hand knowledge of high-altitude trekking, mountain environments, local communities and traditional lifestyles allows her to guide travelers with confidence and care. Passionate about the mountains and proud to be a woman in the trekking profession, Parbati is especially inspiring for travelers looking for an experienced female guide who can combine mountain expertise, local cultural understanding and a warm personal connection throughout their Himalayan journey.

Kendra Kumar Kulung

Born in the Lower Everest region, Kendra began his tourism career as a porter before becoming a licensed trekking guide with more than a decade of experience. His journey has given him an exceptional understanding of both the mountains and the people who make trekking possible. With first-aid training, extensive trail knowledge and a genuine love for hiking and exploring Nepal, Kendra brings practical mountain experience, safety awareness and a friendly spirit to every trek he leads.
