Tumlingtar To Lukla Full Trek

Tumlingtar to Lukla Trek is an easy trek walked into the Khumbu(Everest) region. The traditional route from Tibet to Khumbu is used while performing this trek. The trek begins from Tumlingtar and follows the Arun River until we turn into Irkhu Khola Valley. Then the trek ahead toward Salpa Pass and Salpa Kharka. The trek offers close look of Rai and Sherpa people with their traditional and cultural lifestyle. The trek also offers magnificent views of Mera Peak, Everest, Makalu and other peaks.

Day 1:

Arrival in Kathmandu :

Transfer to hotel facilitated with 24 hrs. running hot water with attached bathroom. Our Airport representative will be at the airport to receive you on your arrival with Himalayan Namobuddha Travel and Treks Banner. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu

 

Day 2:

Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley :

The day we would explore the Kathmandu valley probably to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath and the places you would like to visit would be managed by Himalayan Namobuddha Travel And Trek Pvt. Ltd. Overnight in Kathmandu.

 

Day 3:

Fly from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar :

Today the first day of our journey, we’ll take our flight from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar as per our flight schedule. We’ll stay overnight in tented camp at Tumlingtar.

 

Day 4:

Tumlingtar to Gothebazaar :

The trail leads toward North upstream of Arun river and passes through Baluwabesi and several villages before reaching at Gothebazaar. Overnight in Gothebazaar.

 

Day 5:

Gothebazaar to Tala/Upper Phedi :

We passes through terrace land with rice paddies and fruits toward Tala. We’ll meet specially the Rai and Sherpa ethnic group of people on the way and Nepali papers being maded from Lokta can be also seen on the way. Overnight in Tala.

 

Day 6:

Tala/Upper Phedi to Guranse/Salpa Pokhari :

Today, we’ll pass through rhododendron forest and reaches the holy place Salpa Pokhari of local people. Overnight in Guranse.

 

Day 7:

Guranse/ Salpa Pokhari to Tue/Sonam :

After crossing Salpa Pokhari we’ll pass through fir and rhododendron forest and ahead towards Tue/Sonam. Overnight in Sonam.

 

Day 8:

Tue/ Sonam to Cheskam :

We’ll passes through Rai and Limbu community on the way who are mostly chosen for Gorkha soldiers due to their bravery. Overnight in Cheskam.

 

Day 9:

Cheskam to Bung/Kiraule :

Our trail leads us to Kiraule from Cheskam. We’ll visit famous Kiraule monastery on this day and meet Sherpa people too. Overnight in Kiraule.

 

Day 10:

Bung/Kiraule to Najing :

We’ll passes north west side from Bung and reaches Najing. We’ll cross Sipki La and Inkhu Khola before reaching at Najing. Overnight in Najing.

 

Day 11:

Najing to Pangom :

We’ll take ascend toward Satu La and joins the main Everest Highway at Kharikhola. Overnight in Pangom.

 

Day 12:

Pangom to Lukla :

We’ll pass through Surke and descend toward Lukla. The day would be last day of our trek. Overnight in Lukla.

 

Day 13:

Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu :

We fly back to Kathmandu as we finished all airport formalities. We can relax, have some gifts for relatives and friends from Nepal. If we want to travel or visit somewhere Himalayan Namobudhha Travel And Trek will manage for that too. Overnight in Kathmandu with celebration dinner.

 

Day 14:

Departure from Kathmandu. Farewell Friends :

The last day in Nepal, at 3 hours before scheduled flight we’ll be taken up to airport by office representative of Himalayan Namobuddha Travel And Trek. It’s time to bid Nepal farewell visit and appreciate your visit to our country Nepal. And the trek would be the great lifetime memory.
