This trekking covers almost over all the vantage and popular places of Everest region. Starting from Pikey peak, crossing the 3 passes and summiting the highest vantage point Kalapathar & Everest Base Camp, it truly feels a paradise on Earth. This trekking offers the opportunity to explore off the beat trails and takes to the most spectacular places of the region.

Pikey is said to be a Sherpa clan deity and is worshipped by locals during the month of July as Pikey Hlapchen Karbu. Everest Base Camp is one of the most extraordinary adventures in the World- the trek path to the lap of Mount Everest (5545m). During this trek, you will enjoy crystal clear view of Himalayan range including Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pummi, Kanchenjuna,Gaurishanker etc. You can feel the touch of nature in every blink of their eyes, taste the experience of Everest Trekking, capture the sensational mountain vistas & dream landscapes in their eyes, heart and memory forever.

Day 1: Arrival. Transfer to the hotel. Evening, welcome dinner.

Welcome to Nepal. At your arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, Himalayan Namobuddha Travel and Treks’ representative will be there to welcome you and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, you will be taken for a welcome dinner in one of the typical Nepali restaurant. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 2: Trek Briefing. Free Day in Kathmandu.

Today, we will have detailed trek briefing in presence of your trek guide. After that, you will have free time to explore the city on your own. Here are some best options to consider:

Explore around Thamel – a colorful tourist hub of Nepal. You will spot numbers of hotels, money exchange, hotels, shops to buy all kinds of souvenirs, trekking gears, etc and many restaurants to chose from offering both Western and local Nepali cuisines.
Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, which is a great place to start your exploration, where you will walk(about 10-15 min) through narrow alleyways teeming with small shops, temples, and local restaurants.
If you want to stretch your legs, Swoyambhunath, the white stupa rising above the valley, is the perfect spot to catch the sunset over the valley. You can also take a cab which is approximately about 15 minutes drive from Thamel if you are too tired to walk.
Visit the Garden of dreams, which is a classical historical garden located at Thamel(about 5-10 min walk) with an exquisite ensemble of pavilions, fountains, decorative garden furniture, and beautiful flowers and trees.

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Dhap (2932 m/ 7-8 hrs)

Early morning after breakfast we will drive towards Dhap which is north-east of Kathmandu. We will be travelling on jagged mountain roads. On the way we enjoy the views of Koshi River and eastern Himalayas including Everest, Dudhkunda, Numbur, Thamserku etc .Overnight at Dhap.

 

Day 4: Trek from Dhap to Bhulbule (2900m) (6-7 hrs)

After the breakfast, we start our trekking heading towards Bhulbule which passes through the forest and cross many traditional Mani walls, Stupas. We can visit to famous Tolu Gumba. Overnight at Bhulbule.

 

Day 5: Trek from Bhulbule to Pikey Dada (4065m) (4-5 hrs) 

Today the trail passes through beautiful forest crossing a small rivers and streams, discovering many traditional villages. The beautiful view of open landscapes, Rhododendron, Mani walls, Stupas adds more excitement in our walk. Overnight at Pikey Dada.

 

Day 6: Trek from Pikey to Junbesi (2700m / 5-6 hrs)

Early morning we hike to Pikey peak, the views from the top are breathtaking and you can see Himalaya floras and faunas, centuries old monasteries, Buddhist stupas and mani stones.
After hike back and breakfast, our head towards Junbesi which descend down and cross an old suspension bridge and then ascend up a hill. If we are lucky then we can see the traditional Shamanism (traditional performance by Dhami Jhakri) by local community. Overnight at Junbensi.

 

Day 7: Trek from Junbesi to Taksindo(2960m/ 6-7 hrs) 

Early morning breakfast we start following our trails which take mostly uphill and some downs. Crossing the river and ridges on the way it offers the stunning views of Everest and Thamserku.
After descending RIngmo khola we reacht to Taksindo. Overnight at Taksindo.

 

Day 8: Trek from Taksindo to Kharikhola (222om / 6-7 hrs)

Today our trail descend through the alpine forest, pass the Nunthala village and continue trek down, cross the Dudhkoshi River and get up to Jubing then we reach to Kharikhola. Overnight at Kharikhola.

 

Day 9: Trek from Kharikhola to Surke (2290m) (6-7 hrs)

Today we trek through dense pine woods on a rocky trail. Passing through Sherpa valleys, we reach Surke. Overnight at Surke.

 

Day 10: Trek from Surke to Monjo (2835m / 5-6 hrs)

Today will be an easier day’s trekking as you wind your way along the Dudh Koshi river towards Monjo. Overnight at Monjo.

 

Day 11: Trek from Monjo to Namche (3400m / 4-5 hrs) 

After leaving Monjo, it begins Sagarmatha National Park which to protect and preserve the mountain environment. We then take a steep hike to Namche. If the weather is clear, we get our first glimpse of Mount Everest. Overnight at Namche.

 

Day 12: Acclimatization Day

Namche is the main trading village in the Everest Region which is tucked away between two ridges and has lots of lodges, tea shops and souvenir shops. It is a great place to spend a day acclimatizing before heading off towards Thame. Overnight at Namche.

 

Day 13: Trek from Namche to Thame (3820m / 4-5 hrs)

After breakfast at Namche, the trail leads to the old village called Thamo, a small Sherpa village. Continuing trail we explore the Sherpa village and its culture to Thame. Overnight at the Thame.

 

Day 14: Trek from Thame to Lumde (4368m / 5-6 hrs)

The trails passes through the Bhote Koshi river where you can have short break. Then the trail leads uphill to Lumde through the dry valley. Enjoying the views of the snow peaked mountains and the valley we reach to the village. Overnight at Lumde.

 

Day 15: Renjo La pass (5345 m) and trek to Gokyo (4790m / 7-8 hrs)

Today there is hard climb than before to reach the top of the Renjo La from where you will have an awesome view of Mt. Everest with Mt.Nuptse with surrounding peaks. You will also see a breathtaking Gokyo lake and following the trail it drop down to the Third Lake (Gokya Lake) and reach our lodge. Overnight at Gokyo.

 

Day 16: Hike Gokyo Ri and back & trek to Drangnak (4700m/ 7-8 hrs)

Early morning we start out trail which walk through the Glacier which is the longest glacier of Nepal called Ngozumpa glacier. On the way we could see many ice rocks so while walking we pass carefully. After visiting Gokyo Ri we hike back and follow the trail to Drangnak. Overnight at Drangnak.

 

Day 17: Trek from Drangnak to Chola pass (5420m) to Lobuche (4910m) (8-9 hrs)

Today the trail leads steep climbing for a while and drops down to the bottom of the Chola. After that the trail leads you through the rock toward the top steep climbing. There are some Buddhist prayer flags on the top of the pass from where it offers great views of the mountains. Our trails are almost then the trail drops down through the huge rock and an easy walk at the end to get to the Lobuche. Stay overnight at the Lobuche.

 

Day 18: Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5140m) (3-4 hrs) & hike Everest Base Camp (5364m) & back (5-6 hrs)

The trail leads toward Gorekshep through the rocky trail. On the way you will have great views of the Mt. Everest,Mt. Nuptse,Mt. Pumori and more. You will be able to see Khumbu Glacier on the way. After few up downs, you will reach at Gorekshep, located at the bottom of Kalapatthar. We do lodge check in then we again hike to the Everest Base Camp. We walk through the ridge of the Khumbu glacier until we reach to the highest vantage point on earth, base camp. After exploring and spending adequate time we hike back down to our camo. Overnight at the Gorekshep.

 

Day 19: Hike up to Kalapatthar (5550m) and trek to Lobuche (6-7 hrs) 

Today in the morning we will start hiking without breakfast which is 2 hour up to the Kalapatthar, the greatest view point of the Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Pumori , Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Thamerserku, Mera Peak and many more. After taking many photographs, trek down to the lodge at Gorekshep for breakfast and continue our walk down to Lobuche. Overnight at the Lobuche.

 

Day 20: Trek from Lobuche to Chukung (5833m) via Kongma la pass (5820m / 6-7 hrs)

Today our trail passes through crossing the glacier and river which leads up to the pass the highest pass of this trip. There will be no tea shop and water resource so that you will have to carry few bottles of water to drink. After hard climb to the top, the trail drops steep down to the Chukung valley where our day ends. Overnight at the Chukung.

 

Day 21: Trek from Chukkung to Phortse (3810m / 7-8 hrs)

The trail descends to Pangboche before turning up and down in every half an hour to Phortse. There are village monasteries in Pangboche and Phortse rich in the cultural heritage of the Sherpa people. Overnight at Phortse.

 

Day 22: Trek from Phortse to Lapharma (4500m / 8-9 hrs)

Today the trail passes through the ridges. The walk is a bit longer than before days then we reach to the Lapharma, a lonely lodge with a nice view over the Gokyo valley. Overnight at Lapharma.

 

Day 23: Trek from Lapharma to Namche (3400m) (7-8 hrs)

Today our day starts walking steep downhill through the Rhododendron forest. Once you get at the bottom of the hill, cross the bridge and steep climbing through the pine and Juniper forest to the Namche Bazzar. Overnight at Namche.

 

Day 24: Trek from Namche to Lukla (2840m / 6-7 hrs) 

This day the trial drops steep down, as we walk continually we will reach the fast flowing Dudh Koshi River and crosses the suspension bridge. We walk the same routes but we will have different ultimate feeling in easy and natural walks. Overnight at Lukla.

Day 25: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (30 min) . Transfer to the hotel

This day after breakfast we will take a flight from Lukla airport to Kathmandu. As we reach Kathmandu and finish all our airport formalities, you will be transfer in the hotel. At free time you can relax or walk around to buy some gifts for our friends or loved one from Nepal. Overnight at Kathmandu.

 

 

Day 26: Free day in Kathmandu

Today, you will have free time to explore the city on your own. Here are some best options to consider:

Day 27: Transfer to the airport. Departure

Today is our departure day. Himalayan Namobuddha’s representative will drop you to Airport 3 hours before scheduled flight. It’s time to bid Nepal farewell visit and appreciate your visit to our country Nepal. Hopefully we shall meet again.
