NAGARKOT HIKING

 

Nagarkot is situated at 32km east of Kathmandu, Nepal at Bhaktapur District in an altitude of 2170m. Nagarkot is an international tourist destination which is renowned for its sunrise view of the Himalayas. The panoramic view of the Himalayas ranging from Dhaulagiri in the west to Kanchanjunga in the east including Mt. Everest can be viewed from the hilltop of Nagarkot. Nagarkot hiking offers unique newari culture at Sankhu, view of different snowcapped mountains, splendid views of Kathmandu valley and Shivapuri National Park.

Day 1:

>> Pick up from hotel

>> Drive to Sankhu (about 50-60 min)

>> Hike from Sankhu to Nagarkot (about 3 hrs)
>> Lunch at Nagarkot
>> Rest for some time & enjoy the beautiful view around.
>>Hike down from Nagarkot to Bhaktapur (about 3 hrs)

>>Drive back to Kathmandu

>> Drop to hotel
