Mera Peak is one of the highest peak in Nepal having an altitude of 6416m. Mera Peak is situated on the edge of famous Khumbu Region and dominated by Mt. Everest. Climbing Mera Peak is not technical difficult as it’s snow slopes exceed 40 degree but climber must have excellent fitness. The Mera Peak Expedition provides an excellent view of different mountains such as Everest, Kanchanjunga, Makalu, Lhotse, Cho-Oyu and many other peaks.

Arrival in Kathmandu and trip preparation :
Transfer to hotel facilated with 24 hrs running hot water with attached bathroom. Our Airport representative will be at the airport to receive you on your arrival with Himalayan Namobuddha Travel and Treks Banner. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley :
The day we would explore the Kathmandu valley probably to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath and the places you would like to visit would be managed by Himalayan Namobuddha Travel And Trek Pvt. Ltd. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Fly to Lukla and trek to Paiya(Chutok) :
Today, early in the morning we’ll fly to Lukla as per our flight schedule. We start our trek from Lukla. We’ll walk through jungle down to Surke and Pakhapani. We’ll continue our trek through many traditional villages and reach Paiya. Overnight in Paiya.
Paiya to Pangkoma :
We’ll passes through wooden bridge and slippery trail towards Kari La Hill. We’ll keep on walking through rhododendron and bamboo forest with narrow trail towards Pangkoma. Overnight in Pangkoma.
Pangkoma to Nigmsa (Shibuche) :
Our trail descend through rhodendron forest and mani walls before we reach Nigmsa(Shibuche). We’ll have south face of Mera Peak while we are ahead toward Nigmsa. Overnight in Nigmsa.
Nigmsa to Chetrakhola :
We’ll start our trail steep and narrow slopes through rhododendron and bamboo forest. After some hike our trail lead us little down walk toward Chetrakhola. Overnight in Chetrakhola.
Chetrakhola to Kothe :
We reach Hinku Valley while our trail ahead from Chetrakhola. We’ll pass through pine and bamboo forest towards the ridge of Hinku Valley . Then our ascends path lead us to Kothe. Overnight in Kothe.
Kothe to Tangnang :
We’ll trek along the ridge of the Hinku Khola in the shadow of Mera Peak. We’ll find Mera Peak scripted rock at Lungsumgba Gompa while aheading towards Tangnang. The Gompa was about 200 years old. Overnight in Tangnang.
Acclimatization Day :
Today would be the acclimatization day as per our trek schedule. We can rest a day or hike for about 3 hrs up to Charpate Himal to stay active for next day. Overnight in Tangnang.
Tangnang to Khare :
Khare is the nearby area of Mera Base Camp. Enjoying the views of Charpate Himal we’ll follow lateral moraine of Dig Glacier to Dig Kharka. Our climb through moraines takes us to Khare from where beautiful north face of Mera Peak can be viewed. Overnight in Khare.
Khare to Mera Base Camp :
Our 2-3 hrs trek through boulder strewn course would take us to Mera Base Camp. We’ll pass through steep route toward Base Camp. After reaching Base Camp we’ll be given training and ideas of ice climbing by our guides. Overnight in Mera Base Camp.
Mera Base Camp to High Camp :
We’ll pass through Mera La to reach Mera High Camp. The day would be more adventurous than the previous days. We’ll walk through rock strewn area for about 2 hrs to reach High Camp. After reaching High Camp we’ll enjoy sunset view along the Mt. Everest, Makalu and other nearby peaks. Overnight in Mera High Camp.
Mera High Camp to Summit and Back to Khare :
The day would be really though day for us. We’ll wake up early in the morning and with the help of crampons and rope we’ll start our summit. After around 4-6 hrs we’ll reach the summit of Mera from where we can have magnificent views of Mt. Everest, Cho- Oyu, Lhotse, Makalu, Kanchanjunga, Nuptse, Chamlang, Ama Dablam and many other surrounding peaks over six thousand. The day, we’ll also retrace our steps down to high camp and then to Khare. Overnight in Khare.
Khare to Kothe :
We’ll descend our way to Hinku Valley and then to Kothe with all the memories moments on our summit. Overnigth in Kothe.
Kothe to Thuli Kharka :
Enjoying the natural beauty of rhododendrons forest and lush forest our path ascends toward Hinku Valley to Thuli Kharka. Overnight in Thuli Kharka.
Thuli Kharka to Lukla :
We’ll pass through Zatrwa La Pass to all the way down at Chutung. Then our easy straight forward would take us to Lukla Village from where we had started and our trek ends. Overnight in Lukla.
Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu :
We fly back to Kathmandu as we finished all airport formalities. We can relax, have some gifts for relatives and friends from Neu with celebration dinner.
Departure from Kathmandu :
If we want to travel or visit somewhere Himalayan Namobudhha Travel And Trek will manage for that too. Overnight in Kathmand
The last day in Nepal, at 3 hours before scheduled flight we’ll be taken up to airport by office representative of Himalayan Namobuddha Travel And Trek. It’s time to bid Nepal farewell visit and appreciate your visit to our country Nepal. And the trek would be the great lifetime memory.
