Langtang Region Trek

Langtang is located at north of Kathmandu bordering Tibet from where the spectacular valley of Langtang with the mountain lakes at Gosainkund and Helambu valley can be viewed. Langtang is an interesting village with stone walls enclosing houses and awesome trekking route. Langtang region trekking offers amazing Himalayan views, Tamang ethnic culture, beautiful landscape, monasteries, lake and different flora & fauna. Langtang Lirung (7246 m) is the highest peak in the area and a superb trek that can be done in any seasons expect July and August month.

Trip Route: Kathmandu – Syabrubesi – Lama Hotel – Langtang village – Kyanjin Gompa – Tserko Ri – Lama Hotel- Syabrubesi – Kathmandu

Day 1:

Arrival in Kathmandu and trip preparation :

Transfer to hotel facilitated with 24 hrs running hot water with attached bathroom. Our Airport representative will be at the airport to receive you on your arrival with Himalayan Namobuddha Travel and Treks Banner. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2:

Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley :

The day we would explore the Kathmandu valley probably to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath and the places you would like to visit would be managed by Himalayan Namobuddha Travel And Trek Pvt. Ltd. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 3:

Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi :

After breakfast, enjoying Himalayan views we’ll take a drive to Syabrubesi. We’ll pass through Trishuli Bazar and Dunche before reaching to Syabrubesi. We can explore surrounding area at the evening. Overnight in Syabrubesi.

Day 4:

Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel :

Passing through dense forest and crossing of several suspension bridges, we’ll reach to Lama Hotel. We were following Langtang River while heading for Lama Hotel and the trail leads up and down path. Overnight in Syabrubesi.

Day 5:

Lama Hotel to Langtang Village :

The trail continues to climb steadily along the dense forest to Ghore Tabela. After reaching Ghore Tabela the trail leaves the forest and a magnificent view of Langtang Lirung appears. Leaving behind the forest our trail began with ascending Langtang village. Overnight in Langtang village.

Day 6:

Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa :

We’ll ascend gradally largest mani wall in Nepal, made from stone with prayers written on them behind and crosses small villages with wooden bridge. We’ll have a great view of Yansa Tsenji and Kimshun to the north and Langtang Himal to the north west before arriving at Kyanjin Gompa. Overnight in Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 7:

Kyanjin Gompa to Tserko Ri and Trek back to Lama Hotel :

We’ll wake up early in the morning and visit to Tserko Ri for superb mountain sunrise views. Then we’ll descend our way all the through forest following river and ethnic culture. We walk down hill till we won’t reach to Lama Hotel. Overnight in Lama Hotel.

Day 8:

Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi :

We’ll keep retracing our way up to Syabrubesi from Lama Hotel enjoying beautiful lush green vegetation. It seems different view while we were retracing our trek up to Syabrubesi. Overnight in Syabrubesi.

Day 9:

Syabrubesi to Kathmandu :

We’ll take a drive from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu as we are informed by our guide. We can relax, have some gifts for relatives and friends from Nepal. If we want to travel or visit somewhere Himalayan Namobudhha Travel And Trek will manage for that too. Overnight in Kathmandu

Day 10:

Final Departure. :

The last day in Nepal, at 3 hours before scheduled flight we’ll be taken up to airport by office representative of Himalayan Namobuddha Travel And Trek. It’s time to bid Nepal farewell visit and appreciate your visit to our country Nepal. And the trek would be the great lifetime memory.
