Gosainkunda & Helambu Tre …


The trek is performed at Langtang valley surrounded by Himalayan Peak and the trail is combination of three different important places. The trekkers would be able to visit Langtang region, Helambu village(hyolmo valley) and Gosainkunda Lake. The trek offers panoramic view of mountain between Annapurna to Everest. Trekkers could able to observe beautiful holy lake of Hindu, Gosainkunda. Not only that the trekkers would be also able to experience Tibetan culture of Sherpa people, able to view monasteries, chortens(stupas) and passes through oak and rhododendron forest while hiking.

Trip Route: Kathmandu – Melamchi Pul Bazaar – Sermanthang – Tarkegang – Melamchigoan – Ghopte – Gosainkunda – Dunche – Kathmandu

Day 01. Arrival in Kathmandu :
Transfer to hotel facilitated with 24 hrs running hot water with attached bathroom. Our Airport representative will be at the airport to receive you on your arrival with Himalayan Namobuddha Travel and Treks Banner. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02. Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley :
The day we would explore the Kathmandu valley probably to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath and the places you would like to visit would be managed by Himalayan Namobuddha Travel And Trek Pvt. Ltd. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 03. Drive from Kathmandu to Melamchi Pul Bazaar (about 3 hrs) :
The first day of our journey we’ll take a drive from Kathmandu to Melamchi Pul Bazaar with beautiful green view outside from our bus. The day would be preparation day for our trek. Overnight in Melamchi Pul Bazaar.

Day 04. Trek from Melamchi Pul Bazaar to Sermanthang (3-4 hrs):
Our trail ascends towards Sermanthang with many Sherpa villages on the way. We’ll cross Pokhari Bhanjyang, Kakani, Nagidanda and finally reaches to Sermanthang where people used to practice Drukpa Kagyu Buddhism as in Bhutan.

Day05. Trek from Sermanthang to Tarkegang (3-4 hrs) :
Early in the morning after having breakfast on Sermanthang, we’ll continue our walk towards the small beautiful village Ghangul where we’ll find a small monastery. Then our trail continues through small forest and reaches to Tarkegang.

Day 06. Trek from Tarkegang to Tharepati (6 -7 hrs) :
We’ll leave the typical Sherpa village Tarkegang and passes through Gekye Gompa and Tarkado towards Tharepati. Overnight in Tharepati.

Day 07. Trek from Tharepati to Ghopte(5-6 hrs) :
Today, we’ll pass through forested area and descends to stream and continues to walk ascend path through rhododendron and juniper forest while heading towards Ghopte. Overnight in Ghopte.

Day 08. Trek from Ghopte to Gosainkunda (7-8 hrs) :
Our trail leads up and down trek with rocky hills, pine and rhododendron forest until we reach Phedi. Our ascend path lead us Laurebina Pass. After crossing Laurebina Pass, through rough path we’ll reach a beautiful holy lake Gosainkunda. Overnight in Gosainkunda at teahouse.

Day 09.Explore Gosainkunda Lake :
The day, we would explore Gosainkunda Lake and surrounding areas. Gosainkunda is a pilgrimage place of hindu religious and have a great importance of its own. There are three lakes in Gosainkunda i.e. Saraswoti Kunda, Bharavi Kunda and Gosainkuda Trek. All of them have their own religious importance but Gosainkunda is the main among them. Overnight in Gosainkunda.

Day 10. Trek from Gosainkunda to Sing Gompa (5-6 hrs) :
We will trek from Gosainkunda to Sing Gompa. The trail descends all the way to Sing Gompa passing Lauribinayak with magnificient mountain views. Overnight in Sing Gompa.

Day 11. Trek from Sing Gompa to Dhunche (5-6 hrs):

Today we will trek from Sing Gompa to Dhunche. The trail descends through pine oak and rhododendrons forest up to cross suspension bridge over the Sing Gompa stream. Then the path stretches at flat level through some settlements up to Dhunche. Overnight at Dhunche

Day 12. Drive back to Kathamndu from Dunche (about 7 hrs) :
We’ll drive back to Kathmandu as we are informed by our guide. It takes about 8 hours drive to reach Kathmandu from Dunche. We can relax, have some gifts for relatives and friends from Nepal. If we want to travel or visit somewhere Himalayan Namobudhha Travel And Trek will manage for that too. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 13. Departure from Kathmandu :
The last day in Nepal, at 3 hours before scheduled flight we’ll be taken up to airport by office representative of Himalayan Namobuddha Travel And Trek. It’s time to bid Nepal farewell visit and appreciate your visit to our country Nepal. And the trek would be the great lifetime memory.
