Khopra Trek is a fantastic trek, which is also an off the beaten trekking trail in Annapurna Region of Nepal. The Khayer lake is the major attraction of this trekking as Khopra trek is also called Khayar lake trek. So, it’s the best trip for those who wants to avoid the crowd and enjoy the beautiful nature and mountains . Most of the land is covered by dense forest and grass land. The whole Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri mountain range can be seen from Bailey on the way of trekking trail.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu-WD
Welcome to Nepal. At your arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, Himalayan Namobuddha Travel and Treks’ representative will be there to welcome you. The representative will help you to check in your hotel rooms. In the hotel, you will be briefed about your activities during the trip. In the evening you will be welcomed with a dinner in one of the typical Nepali restaurant with cultural programs. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu & Patan- B
After breakfast in the hotel, we do sightseeing around Kathmandu City. We start our day trip from Thamel, this is the famous tourist street of Kathmandu city. You can shop your needy equipments, then to the famous historical place Kathmandu Durbar Square along with tour of local market and local lifestyle of Nepal. And then we will be visiting Patan Durbar Square and living goddess of Nepal – KUMARI of Patan. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (about 7 hrs)- B
After breakfast in the hotel, we will drive to Pokhara. The first day of our journey begins through drive up to Pokhara, a beautiful lake city. Enjoying the beautiful scenario of greenery hills and villages We will reach to Pokhara. Reaching there you have free time on your own. Overnight at Lakeside, Pokhara.

Day 04 : Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul (1050m) 1.5 hr & Trek to Ghandruk (1940m) (5-6 hrs) – B,L,D
We drive to Nayapul from Pokhara, it will take about one hour. Then we will trek from Nayapul to Ghandruk. Following the Modi Khola, cross the river in Birethanti,to follow Modi Khola valley passing Sauly Bazaar then we climb up steps and continue to walk . The beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk,village with vibrant Buddhist monasteries and houses made of slate and stones with beautiful mountain views and rich in gurung traditions.Overnight at Ghandruk

Day 05: Trek from Ghandruk to Tadapani (2675m) (3-4 hrs)- B,L,D
We leave the terraced hillsides and the village of Ghandruk behind and trek through rhododendron and oak forest. There are no villages on this route, but there are a few teahouses at the place called Baisi Kharkha to rest. We will get to see awe inspiring views of Machhapuchhare (6993m),Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna South (7237m), and Lamjung Himal (6931m) along the way. Overnight at Tadapani

Day 06: Trek from Tadapani (2595m) to Bayeli Kharka (3450m) (5-6 hrs)- B,L,D
From Tadapani we walk through the forest of rhododendrons and Primula.then after gradual climb we reach above the timberline with amazing views of the Annapurna .Continuing through the open countryside to reach a small pass from here the trail descends through rhododendron to a clearing known as Bayli Kharka, and the lodge.From the village, we can enjoy superb views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, the seventh highest mountain in the world,Overnight at Bayeli Kharka.

Day 07: Trek from Bayli Kharka (3450m) to Khopra Danda (3660m) (5-6 hrs)- B,L,D
From Bayli Kharka we will descend through forests to reach the pastures of Chistibang . From Chistibang we ascend above the timberlines to reach the ridge at Khopra,You might get to see Himalayan tahr and Danfe pheasant on the way.On top we will see amazing views on all sides of Dhaulagiri, Damphus Peak, Tukuche Peak,Nilgiri, Annapurna 1, Annapurna South and deep down Sikha. Overnight at Khopra Danda.

Day 08: Khopra Danda exploration day- B,L,D
Today we hike to explore the beautiful Khayer lake. Reaching there we experience the high alpine and enjoy the beautiful landscape.Then we hike back to our hotel. Overnight at Khopra Danda

Day 09: Trek from Khopra Danda to Tatopani (5-6 hrs)- B,L,D
Today we will descend further down toward Tatopani that lies on ending point of Annapurna Circuit and offer excellent hot water ponds where one can soaks in natural hot water ponds. It’s perfect place for recreational stuffs like getting fresh, hot shower and perfect foods too. Overnight at Tatopani.

Day 10: Drive from Tatopani to Pokhara (about 6 hrs)- B,L
Early in the morning we take a jeep from Tatopani and head toward the Pokhara. Enjoying the beautiful greenerary and village we reach to Pokhara. Overnight at lakeside, Pokhara.

Day 11: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (about 7 hrs)- B
You will reach Kathmandu by 7 hrs. Upon your arrival transfer to hotel and relax. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 12: Free day in Kathmandu- B,-,D
This day you will have free day on your own. In the evening, Himalayan Namobuddha Travel and Trek will take you for a farewell dinner in one of the finest restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 13: Departure day- B
Today is your departure day. Himalayan Namobuddha’s representative will drop you to Airport 3 hours before scheduled flight. It’s time to bid Nepal farewell visit and appreciate your visit to our country Nepal. Hopefully we shall meet again.
