Arrival in Kathmandu and trip preparation :
Transfer to hotel facilitated with 24 hrs running hot water with attached bathroom. Our Airport representative will be at the airport to receive you on your arrival with Himalayan Namobuddha Travel and Treks Banner. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley :
The day we would explore the Kathmandu valley probably to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath and the places you would like to visit would be managed by Himalayan Namobuddha Travel And Trek Pvt. Ltd. Overnight in Kathmandu
Kathmandu to Lukla via flight and Lukla to Phakding :
Early morning, we drive to airport as per flight departure time to take our flight to Lukla(2800m). After preparation of luggage for porters, we start walking the stone paved trial towards Bhaisekharka until we reach Phakding. To assist acclimatilization we would have a short hike. Overnight in Phakding.
Phakding to Namche Bazaar:
The trial leads towards the suspension bridge and easy uphill to the Monjo from where Sagarmatha National Park begins after leaving Phakding. After small formalities at National Park, we would cross another suspension bridge and trial to uphill Namche Bazaar. It takes about 1.5 hrs hiking to reach Namche Bazaar, a Gateway to Mt. Everest. Overnight in Namche.
Accilimatization Day at Namche Bazaar :
The day is the accilimatization day of the trek as scheduled but we must have to stay active and moving during the rest day too. We can visit to Thame or Khunde from where we can enjoy views of Mt. Everest and other Peaks with Sherpa Culture. We would hike to Khumjung village on this day and come back to Namche Bazaar. Stay overnight at Namche.
Namche Bazaar to Phorse village :
After breakfast at Namche Bazaar, our trek leads to gradual trail with few up and down towards Kayangjuma and then to Sansa enjoying views of Mt. Everest, Neptse, Lhotse and other peaks. Sansa is also the main junction to Gokyo valley and Everest Base Camp. We’ll continue our trek crossing the bridge at Dudhkosi Khola and trek through rhododendron forest towards Phorse village. Stay overnight at Phorse Village.
Phorse Village to Machhermo :
Today our trail continues to trek through forest, some waterfalls and bridge. From Phorse we climb steadily up through a scenic ridge above Dole and our trail climbs via Lhabarma. We”ll ascend our path towards Luza enjoying views of Cho-Oyu, Kantega and Thamserku. We’ll walk along hillside above Dudhkoshi and passes through small hamlets and sady spurs to Machhero. Overnight in Machhermo.
Machhermo to Gokyo :
Enjoying beautiful view of northern part to the Cho-Oyu, Mt. Everest, Kantega and Thamserku our trail leads to Pangka village. We’ll climb up to Ngozamba Glacier and head towards first lake Longpongo where we can observe the Lama footprints on a stone. We’ll passes through second lake Taboche Tsho and then to third lake Dudh Pokhari where Gokyo village stands by. We’ll have amazing spectacular backdrop set of Cho-Oyu Mountain from Gokyo and stay overnight in Gokyo.
Climb to Gokyo Ri from Gokyo and hike to fifth Lake :
Today we’ll climb Gokyo Ri at an altitude of 5375m from where we can have a best view of Everest Regiion. We’ll be able to observe fourth lake Thonak Tsho with its high cliff and fifth lake Ngozuma Tsho on the way. Northern part of fifth lake provides fabulous views of Cho-Oyu Base Camp and biggest Glacier of the world, the Ngazumpa Glacier. Enjoying the views of mountains we’ll reach Cho-Oyu Base Camp beyond fifth lake.Overnight in Gokyo.
Gokyo to Dole :
We’ll take easy walk downhill walk along the Dudhkoshi River and passes through second and first lakes. We’ll retrace our way all the through Phangka and passes through Machhermo, Luza, Lhaforma and then to Dhole. We’ll stop our retracing day to Dole and stay overnight.
Dole to Namchebazaar :
Today early in the morning our hike starts mostly through down hills passing through diferent flora and fauna, wildflowers and rhododendron forest. We’ll retrace our way through Phortse Tenga and then to Sanasa. Our trail continues to walk up to Namche from Sanasa. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Namche Bazaar to Lukla :
The trial drops steeply dowards and we’ll ahead to fast flowing Dudh Koshi River. After crossing the suspension bridge at Dudhkoshi trail becomes more easy and natural. Although we walk for the same routes it seems different views while returning back. The day would be the last day of our trek to Lukla. Stay overnight at lodge in Lukla.
Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu :
We fly back to Kathmandu as we finished all airport formalities. We can relax, have some gifts for relatives and friends from Nepal. If we want to travel or visit somewhere Himalayan Namobudhha Travel And Trek will manage for that too. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Departure from Kathmandu :
The last day in Nepal, at 3 hours before scheduled flight we’ll be taken up to airport by office representative of Himalayan Namobuddha Travel And Trek. It’s time to bid Nepal farewell visit and appreciate your visit to our country Nepal. And the trek would be the great lifetime memory.
