— Long underwear ­– becomes pajamas at night and is good under layer when cold
— T-shirts – Preferable some long arm
— Woolen or thick cotton long arm shirt – can double as a light jacket when required and also protects arms and neck because of the collar, good to wear in the evenings
— Fleece top
— Jacket with attachable fleece inners which can double as light fleece jacket and when combined with the down or Gore-Tex outer becomes a formidable jacket
— Socks – Hiking socks
— Thin woolen jumper/ sweater can be reassuring and comfortable at nights in the lodges
— Gloves
— Warm wooly hat
