Manaslu & Tsum Trek Speci …

Manaslu & Tsum Trekking

Manaslu (8163m),, known as Kutang is the eight highest mountain in the world which is located at the western central part of Nepal in Mansiri Himal.  In Sanskrit, Manasa means “intellect” or “soul” thus the meaning of Manaslu is “Mountain of Spirit”. Whereas Tsum comes from the Tibetan work ‘Tsombo’, which means vivid and we can only agree.

Manaslu and Tsum Valley Trek is one of the most beautiful hidden trekking trails of Nepal that gives you spectacular views of Manaslu including different peaks including Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal and many other Himal Ranges as well as gives you close look towards authentic Hindu and Tibetan style villages. The passes through Budhi Gandaki and Larky La (5160m) which is the highest point of the trek makes the journey more adventurous and exciting.

This trekking trail requires special Manalsu and Tsum valley permits including both the Manaslu Conservation Area Park (MCAP)  and the Annapurna Conservation Area Park (ACAP) permits.
